THE OHOHOHS play concertante club music on just two instruments: Grand Piano and Drums. The "Sturm und Drang” single is their first strike of a longer campaign for the release of their first album.
Storming and pushing at breakneck speed and wild expression runs through the entire history of music - from the ritual dances of archaic cultures to the excesses of rock music of our days. With "Sturm und Drang" THE OHOHOHS go in search of a new musical sensibility, a new expression. They draw their inspiration from nature, whether free climbing or observing its fragile beauty. Nature as the epitome of all that is alive and creative is not the only ideal here - in its endangered state it becomes an asset worth protecting. Emotional worlds that THE OHOHOHS transmit with piano and drums alone. Intimate, quiet passages are dissolved in a thunderous crescendo - just as the clouds move across the sky, piling up into threatening shapes, only to be ruffled by the wind or torn to shreds.
